Currently in its third year, D I SPLACED Young Artist-in-Residency is a Rikuzentakata-Manila Art Project Collaboration by Bliss Market Laboratory supported by Asia Pacific College, Rikuzentakata AIR, and Japan Foundation.
I take part by accompanying our Japanese participants all throughout the immersion; communicating the daily life in the Philippines, the history, and where is art in all of this. Also, I am in-charge of documentation (photo, Instagram updates, and blog). It is the second time I joined the Manila Immersion. I was an intern last year and was also in-charge of documentation and communication.

Condura Kick-Off Event 2020
Condura is a Filipino Refrigerator brand which is one of our clients in the design team I am working. We are hired as the creative support in the said company and one of the things we regularly do is document their special events.
As the main photographer, their events become a training ground not only for the technical skills, but also the capability to comfortably communicate to the subjects which are the employees and the bosses.
Eric Nam in Manila (Before We Begin Tour)
A blessing during the start of the decade, I was given a chance to be one of the three media volunteer under Onion Production who brought Eric Nam in Manila. It is one of my international projects.
Caravan is a program by KCC that sets to tour around the selected public schools with Korean Language curriculum. My task is to photograph the highlights of the entire day.
Korean Life Aesthetics Exhibit
Educating their culture across the globe, group of artist from Korea exhibit their tradition in MET Museum in Manila for a month. On the opening day, I was a videographer/photographer.
Korea's Finest
One of the largest event I attended as a media volunteer for KCC, I captured photos of the event which highlighted Korean Chef Jang Jinmo and his signature dishes. The event happened at Grand Hayatt Hotel in BGC and was attended by big names in the nation.
Korean National Day
My first coverage in KCC as media volunteer. This is the event to commemorate Korea’s liberation during Japanese occupation. I met the Korean ambassador to the Philippines, Ambassador Han Dongman, and his wife, Ms. Jang Sookyung.

"Participating in Kesen Art and Life Potluck Sharing as part of the exchange program that promotes sharing of lives through all forms of art is experiencing life once more through different lenses. It was understanding the significant role of one's culture in influencing individual life. It was immersing to a community you are once unfamiliar to; spending days and nights knowing its similarities and differences from your own country. It was creating a bond between you and the place of realization which is hard to tangle. It was developing yourself and your potential by being exposed to people who knows more than you. With all this, I am deeply thankful for the proponents of this program as it changes lives including mine. It was the pick of my youth."

MARALITA

Maralita is an Interactive Thesis Short Film made by Nightingale Studio. We spent a year to materialize this project. This is a first in the Philippines up to date. It was inspired by a foreign project called “Uncompressed” which is a pioneer for an interactive film format called Hyperstory.
One of the yearly KCC events, I was selected as one of the videographers. It was a festive night of Korean music and dance.

Asia Pacific College went through rebranding. As an intern of the creative company they worked with (same company I am working right now as the junior art director and project manager), I collaborate with the entire team for better branding development. What’s best in this project is, I am an alumni of APC. As a ram myself, it is an honor to be part of the evolution.
The video below is one of our main output for the project; it has two parts: the mood driven and the narrative driven AVP of APC.

Si Barbie at Si Barbara

Si Barbie at Si Barbara is a short visual poetry I made for Amor Fati as my artwork. It is about the contrast of an individual’s personality when she is in the world and whe she in her world, the mind.
Proseso

Proseso is a Thesis Short Mockumentary Film made by Third Eye Production about the importance of pre-production and the process of creating an experimental film.

Pasada is the film entry of CINEMASoMA, official film organization of Asia Pacific College, for Vision Petron 2018: Tuklas Kultura. It is a documentary film about the micro-culture within jeepney passengers such as “pagsabit” and “pagsuyo ng bayad.”
Warmth Underneath The Umbrella

Warmth Underneath the Umbrella is a short film by Trailblazing Production for Video Production course. This short film emphasizes a metaphoric comparison of an umbrella and the overwhelming, sacrificial, and unconditional love given by a mother to his son. It is my first short film as a Multimedia Arts student in Asia Pacific College.

Equinox
Equinox is an event consisting of two exhibiting groups: Creatives 446 and MAMAW Productions. Each group is a separate entity with separate themes whose aim is to reach their audience through their artworks. As one of the exhibitor, together with everyone, I curated the exhibit and made the initial project management needed to made the event possible. The exhibit took place September 1 to 3, 2018 at Aspace Makati.

Asia Pacific College yearly exhibits student projects in MOA Atrium. Our thesis film, Maralita, is one of the succeeding projects and was given a solo area to enhance and maximize the experience for the audience.
